Classroom Policies |
In our classroom and here on our campus it is expected that students behave like CROCS. This means they are:
C- Caring and Careful R- Respectful and Responsible O- On Time C- “Can-Do” Attitude S- Safe and Successful |
Student behavior is monitored in the classroom with the use of a “clip-chart” where each student is represented by their own “Croc-Clip”.
- Displaying great teamwork/citizenship will earn a student their way up the chart.
- Misbehaving, not listening to instructions etc. may result in a student working down the chart.
- Every student starts every day at a green level- this is called the “Ready to Play Position”
- The yellow step is called a “Flag”
- The orange step is called a “Turnover”
- The red step is called a “Penalty”
- The blue step is called a “First Down”
- The purple step is called a “Field Goal”
- The pink step is called a “Touchdown”
- 1st = Verbal warning
- 2nd = Move clip down to yellow for a “flag”
- 3rd= Move clip down to orange for a “turnover” and complete a “foul write up” which is parent contact home and possibly a “think sheet”
